About Our Product
The Stage Rig cart was designed with both the Professional as well as the Weekend Warrior in mind. The goal for
designing the combination amplifier rack and cart was as follows: to remove the “hassle” associated with heavy
equipment moving, to reduce set-up time, eliminate lost cords and equipment, ease of storage, provide a rack medium
for amplifier angular projection and elevation as well as eliminating the need for a separate bag for carrying accessory
goods.
Ease of Moving Heavy Equipment
Each Stage Rig cart is equipped with 6” pneumatic tires (see fig. A below) capable of navigating almost any terrain
encountered by the Professional or Weekend Warrior. Easy conversion from the amp stand configuration to the cart
configuration is a breeze and is accomplished in seconds. The use of hitch pins in lieu of detents or other fastening
methods provides reliability and fast disconnect as well as stability for even the heaviest equipment (see fig. B below).
Adjustable gripper arms secure the load properly to prevent shifts and can be applied at various points of the Stage Rig
depending on your current equipment requirements (see fig. C below). A beefy aluminum back and bottom handles
insures your load can be handled easily for pulling as well as lifting (see figures D & E).
Set-Up Time Reduction
After setting up the Stage Rig on stage in the desired angular position, one of the biggest hassles of being a musician is
locating all the cords, foot switches, etc. after a move from one location to another or being scattered after sitting in your
closet or home studio over a period of time. With the Stage Rig, you never have to disconnect accessory equipment and
or cables except the power cord and instrument cord unless playing with an external pedal configuration. The Stage Rig’
s built in accessory bag and general design enables foot switch storage up to 14” by 9” on board in the weather proof
bag (see fig. F). Eyelets through the back of the bag enable cords for OEM foot switches to be run from the back of the
amplifier directly into the bag and not disconnected after each performance (see fig. G).For musicians playing an array of
non-OEM or external switches, the array is kept in tact by rolling up and placing in the bag after each session. When it is
time to play, simply un-roll the array and simply plug into the output jack same as you would with your instrument (see fig.
H). The Stage Rig’s additional flexibility allows for customization to fit any preference you may have. It literally takes you
longer to tune your instrument than it does to set your amplifier on stage ready for play!
Ease of Storage
Whether it is placing it on the van for traveling to your next gig, or placing in the closet, the Stage Rig can rise or collapse
to the occasion as required depending on your amplifier configuration. The top handle folds down (see fig. I) when not
using the top gripper assemblies and its narrow design width of 19” (see fig. J) with tires enables to easily fit through any
normal door opening.
Amp Rack Heights and Angular Sound Projection
The Stage Rig can convert from the cart mode to an amplifier rack in a matter of seconds! The quick disconnect system
employing hitch pins ( see fig. K below) at key adjustment points enables this transition. In addition, the Stage Rig has
five adjustable heights for amp rack use (see fig. L below). For smaller amplifiers, less than 75lbs., all five heights can
be used as desired. For amplifiers greater than 75 lbs. In weight, the user is limited to the bottom two position due to
load instability. Other limitations, of course, are amplifier height and whether or not top grippers are being used in the
custom set-up.
